A Wegovy tracker is a record of when you injected and what followed it, kept somewhere other than memory. Why Wegovy users track
Nobody starts a tracker out of curiosity. It is usually a form to fill in before an appointment, or a symptom that showed up a few days after an injection and might or might not be related, and no clean way to check.
Once a week is easy to lose count of
Wegovy is injected once weekly. A once-a-day medicine sits inside a routine you notice if you break it; a once-a-week one does not, and after a month the exact day starts to blur into the ones either side of it.
Writing the date down the day it happens removes the guesswork later, and gives anything you note afterwards a fixed point to be measured from.
A symptom needs a date more than it needs a description
Telling a prescriber that you 'sometimes feel sick' is much less useful than telling them it started the evening of an injection and was gone by the weekend, and by the time you are sitting in the room those details are usually the first thing to go.
A short entry made on the day, saying what happened and when it started, holds up much better than a memory does six weeks on.
Where you injected is worth a note, not a memory test
The label lists the abdomen, the thigh and the upper arm, and says the injection site can be changed. It does not tell you to alternate, so whatever routine you and your prescriber settle on is yours. The practical problem is the same either way: remembering which site you used last time, which a phone is better at than you are.

A change partway through is exactly when records matter most
Treatment gets reviewed and sometimes adjusted. The useful comparison is always before and after, and that comparison only exists if the record was running continuously through the change rather than starting once something felt different.
A plain history that covers the whole period beats a detailed one that only starts the week you got worried.

What to record across a change in your prescription
Treatment is reviewed and adjusted over time. Veya will not tell you what to take, and this page carries no schedule of amounts: that is between you and your prescriber, and it is set out in the patient information supplied with your medicine. What a tracker can do is make the period around a change legible afterwards. These are the entries worth having.
- The date something changed, written down on the day rather than reconstructed later.
- Which day of the week you inject, and whether it stayed the same through the change.
- Any symptom that appeared, disappeared or changed character in the two weeks either side.
- How long each symptom lasted, which usually tells a prescriber more than how bad it felt.
- What you had eaten and drunk on a day a digestive symptom was notably worse.
- The injection site used each week, so a site-specific reaction can be told apart from a general one.
- Anything else that changed at the same time: a new medicine, an illness, travel, a different sleep pattern.
- The questions you want to ask at your next appointment, written down when they occur to you.

Yes. Entries carry the medicine they relate to, so a history that spans a change of medicine stays in one record instead of splitting across two.
What happens to my entries if I stop paying?
CSV export works in normal use and after cancelling. Your record is exportable as a file you keep, rather than something that becomes unreadable when a subscription ends.
Does Veya work if my injection day moves around?
Yes. You record the date you actually injected. Nothing assumes a fixed day, and a week that shifted is simply a week that shifted.
